Fort McMurray, AB (April 15, 2020) ? The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce that 2001-born defenceman Rider McCallum (Langley, BC) has signed a letter of intent for the 2020-21 AJHL season.

The smooth skating, well-rounded defenceman joins the Oil Barons after spending the past two seasons with the Revelstoke Grizzlies of the KIJHL In 43 games last season, McCallum recorded 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) and 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in 44 games during the 2018-19 campaign.
?The AJHL plays at a cleaner, faster pace,? said McCallum. ?My experience in Revelstoke has prepared me for this jump. The style of play and accountability in Revelstoke is designed to allow players to have an impact at the next level.?
