The Northern Alberta Athletic Association (NAAA) and the Fort McMurray Oil Barons are accepting applications for a volunteer coordinator for the upcoming season. The volunteer coordinator will be responsible for recruiting volunteers for all Casman Centre events including Oil Barons homes games, concerts, and MMA fights. Common volunteer responsibilities during these events include selling 50/50 tickets, accepting tickets at the main doors, or working as an off ice official during an Oil Barons game.
The volunteer coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting volunteers for various fundraising initiatives held by the NAAA, including casinos and the Oil Barons Dream Home.
This is a contract position that offers a flexible work schedule and work location. The successful candidate should be familiar with the region and must be able to organize and recruit various volunteers for the many events and fundraisers hosted by the NAAA. Compensation will be determined based on experience and availability.
