Fort McMurray, AB (November 30, 2019) ? The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have traded 2000-born forward Colson Gengenbach to the Drayton Valley Thunder for future considerations.
Gengenbach, 19, appeared in two games with the Oil Barons after being acquired earlier this month in a trade with the Spruce Grove Saints.
?When we acquired Colson, he informed us that he is currently taking post secondary courses in Edmonton,? said Oil Barons Head Coach and General Manager Bob Beatty. ?He decided to return home and asked to be assigned to a team closer to Edmonton to allow him to continue his educational commitments,? added Beatty.
?Colson?s a fine young man and we wish him all the best in the future.?
