Fort McMurray, AB (November 27, 2019) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired 2000-born forward Breydon Berthold (Leduc, AB) from the Lloydminster Bobcats for future considerations.
The 19-year-old is currently in his second AJHL season and has recorded 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) in 18 games this season. Before embarking on his Junior A career, Berthold put up signifcant numbers two seasons ago with the Leduc Midget AAA Oil Kings. During that season, Berthold scored 40 points (14 goals, 26 assists) in 35 games.
The Oil Barons would like to welcome Breydon and his family to Fort McMurray.
A reminder that the Oil Barons are back on home ice this Friday when the Bobcats pay a visit to the Camsan Centre. Friday also marks our annual Teddy Bear Toss in support of Father Mercredi’s Santas Anonymous. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.
