Fort McMurray, AB — January 8, 2026 — The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have completed two transactions involving roster movement and future assets.
The Oil Barons have traded defenceman Jett Quaschnick to the Whitecourt Wolverines in exchange for a Player Development Fee.
In a separate move, the Oil Barons have acquired the CJHL rights to Brodie Hankel from the Olds Grizzlys in exchange for Noah Kelly.
The Oil Barons organization would like to thank both Jett Quaschnick and Noah Kelly for their contributions during their time in Fort McMurray and wish them nothing but success as they continue their junior hockey careers.
