The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired Rylan Ringor from the Calgary Canucks in exchange for Cade Meiklejohn and Future Considerations.
The 04 forward suited up for the Lloydminster Bobcats last season where he produced 36 points (12 goals and 24 assists) in 59 games. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native played for his hometown Freeze of the MJHL prior to his time in the AJHL contributing 34 points (8 goals and 26 assists) in 54 games.
“We are excited to be adding Rylan into our forward group. He had a solid 18 year old season last year in Lloydminster putting up 36 points. First and foremost, he is a playmaker out there. The biggest thing he will add to our line-up will be his ability to make plays, whether that is off the rush or in the offensive zone. He is crafty and will use his creativity & IQ to get pucks to spots where his teammates can score.” Said Head Coach Adam Manah. “With Rylan plotting 12 goals of his own, we are hoping he can improve on that total and be a double threat out there. He will be a nice addition to our PP as he had a lot of success playing below the goal line last year.”
The Oil Barons would like to welcome Rylan and his family to the organization.
The Oil Barons would also like to thank Cade for his contributions and wish him well in his future hockey endeavors.
