Chris Curr has been named the AJHL's Defensive Player of the Week! Appearing in 3 games last week, Curr was a perfect 3-0 and recorded his fifth consecutive win and first shutout of the season.
The second year Oil Baron ranks in the Top 10 among AJHL goaltenders for save percentage at .913% (6th) and goals against average at 2.68 (9th).
Curr is the fourth Oil Baron to receive Player of the Week honours this season, joining Taner Miller (September 14-16, December 28 – January 7), Ryan Conroy (October 22-28) and Reed Morison (December 3-9).
