The Fort McMurray Oil Barons would like to congratulate Carter Schmidt on winning Pizza 73 AJHL Player of the Week.
Schmidt, the first year Oil Barons forward, produced 5 points (3 goals and 2 assists) in 2 games from the January 22nd-28th week. In Friday’s 5-3 win against the Drumheller Dragons, Schmidt lead the Oil Barons come back with a 3 point third period. Then, on Saturday’s 3-1 victory over the Dragons, Schmidt added 2 goals including the game winner.
The MOB will be back in action on the road against the Drumheller Dragons on Saturday, February 3rd.
