What’s next for the MOB?

Wow, what a season 2016/17 was! The season definitely featured a number of highlights, which was capped off by a 44 win, 91 point North Division regular season title and a trip to the North Division Final in the playoffs!

But the year also saw the Casman Centre host an international game against the Czech Republic U19 Selects in December, while Tom Keca was named AJHL Coach of the Year in March! Curtis Roach and Eric Szudor were also named to the AJHL's North Division All League Team in March.

The year also saw a number of MOB veterans and rookies make huge contributions both on and off the ice, while our community continues to heal from last May's wildfires.

As always, this time of year is tough becuase it's time to say goodbye to our graduating 20-year-olds. Best of luck to Brandon Ralph, Jackson McKinstry, Jordan Steenbergen, Toby Shattler and Stefan Wood! Gentlemen, each of you have bright futures ahead of you. Remember, once a Baron, always a Baron!

And of course, our success would not be possible without the support of our loyal fans, volunteers, sponsors, billets, parents, and staff! We truly appreciate your support each and every season, both at the Casman Centre and on the road!

Stay tuned for updates throughout the off season. With our Edmonton and Cochrane spring camps coming up later this month, we're already gearing up for next year. We’ll be back and ready to go this fall!
