Vincent Lamanna Commits to the University of Alberta

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are proud to announce forward Vincent Lamanna has committed to the University of Alberta Golden Bears.

“We are thrilled to announce Vincent’s commitment to the University of Alberta Golden Bears hockey team. His tenure with the team has been nothing short of exemplary. Hailing from the WHL, Vincent quickly solidified his position as a pivotal figure within our roster. His leadership qualities were evident to all, earning him the respect and admiration of his teammates.” Said General Manager Joey Bouchard.

“Vincent’s contributions were instrumental in fostering a culture of hard work and camaraderie within the team. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Vincent on this monumental achievement. His journey to the U of A Golden Bears is a testament to his resilience, and we couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments.”

Lamanna contributed 33 points (9 goals and 24 assists) in 43 games this season with the MOB. The 2003 born forward from Sturgeon County, Alberta, took home the Masterson Award (most dedicated) and the Terry Conroy Award (biggest contribution to minor hockey) at the Oil Barons team awards banquet this year.
