Oil Barons Sign Forward Ethan Sundar

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of forward Ethan Sundar.

Sundar played last season in the BCHL for the Vernon Vipers and the Cranbrook Bucks where he contributed 18 points (5 goals and 13 assists) in 31 games. Prior to playing in the BCHL, Sundar suited up in 89 games across 3 seasons for the Bonnyville Pontiacs. He is originally from St. Albert, AB and was born in 2003.

“We have been looking to add an impact player into our top 6 and we have found another capable player to do that in Ethan. He has a ton of Jr. A experience starting his career when he was 16 and now carrying that into his 20 yr old year he not only wants to win, but he is going to be hunting down a NCAA scholarship in his final year. Ethan has the ability to change the game when the puck is on his stick. He can score, he can be a playmaker, and he is a player that is very dynamic and slippery when he is on the ice.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah. “He will not only contribute to scoring 5 on 5 but will add a ton of creativity and skill on the powerplay as well. We are excited to have Ethan and his family join the MOB for his final season of Jr. A hockey.”

The Oil Barons would like to welcome Ethan and his family to the organization.
