Fort McMurray, AB — January 9, 2026 — The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are pleased to announce the signing of forward Bradley Schmidt.
Schmidt joins the Oil Barons from the Langley Rivermen (BCHL), where the 6’3”, 199-pound forward appeared in 18 games this season. Known for his blend of speed and physicality, Schmidt will add size and pace to the Oil Barons forward group.
Prior to his time in Langley, Schmidt played with Okanagan Hockey Academy Prep.
