Oil Barons Acquire Liam Cox-Smith from Melville for Future Considerations

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired Liam Cox-Smith from the Melville Millionaires (SJHL) for Future Considerations.

Cox-Smith has played in 30 games with the Millionaires this season and put up 22 points (9 goals and 13 assists) good for second on his team in scoring. The 2003 forward has 50 games of AJHL experience with the Sherwood Park Crusaders suiting up in 38 regular season games and 12 in the playoffs last year. The 5’9” forward is originally from Minot, North Dakota.

“Liam is a skilled forward who will add offensive depth to our lineup” Said Interim Head Coach and General Manager Carter Duffin “We are very excited about the opportunity to insert him into our forward group.”
