The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired forward Drew Freer (05) from the Calgary Canucks in exchange for a player development fee.
Freer, originally from Calgary, has spent the previous three seasons with the Tri City Americans of the WHL before starting the season with the Calgary Canucks.
The Oil Barons would like to welcome Drew and his family to the organization!
