The Barons continued their winning ways sweeping 2 games this weekend at the Casman Center.
The MOB defeated Olds 8-2 Friday as Goalie Tanner Jaillet earned his 50th career AJHL win. Adam Durkee (6th/7th), Mitch Vanderlaan (2nd), Jetlan Houcher (14th), Kevin Miller (12th), Brennan Saulnier (6th), Ryan Bloom (9th) and Hayden Dawes (6th) scored for the Barons. The shots were 30-19 for the MOB and scoring chances were 16-4 for the home side.
The Barons then collected their 6th shut-out of the season Saturday blanking the Calgary Canucks 5-0. Jesse Gordichuk collected his 3rd shut-out of the season and improved to 7-0 on the season. Adam Durkee (8th), Alex Cromwell (3rd), John Teets (2nd), Danton Ayotte (10th) and Kevin Miller (13th) lit the lamp for the Barons. The shots were 34-25 with the scoring chances 14-5 favouring the MOB.
