The Barons completed a 3 game road swing dropping a 4-1 decision to Drayton Valley Saturday and a 3-2 loss in Sherwood Park Sunday. Once again the team competed hard but showed very little execution offensively despite many chances.
Mike Marianchuk scored the lone goal in 31 shots versus Drayton Valley. Rookies Adam Durkee and Parker Evans-Campbell scored Sunday as the MOB fired 40 shots on the Sherwood Park net.
Frustration is the word to describe the weekend as the team played 3 good hockey games but is unable to generate enough offense to finish games at this point in the season.
