2020 has been an unusual year for everyone. While COVID-19 has forced many cancellations and postponments across the sporting world, there’s one tradition we plan to continue this year – our Blue-Gold Game!
Tune into our YouTube channel at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 for a live broadcast of the game. Like any other home game at the newly-named Centerfire Place, Taylor Pope will have the play-by-play call and our gameday production team will be in the building to run the lights, music and online broadcast.
To align with Alberta Health Services guidelines and ensure everyone’s safety, the game will be limited to 100 spectators (subject to availability).
If you plan to watch the game in person, you must:
- Register through the Centrefire Place box office (780-743-5509). Registration will open at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 25.
- Registration will be limited to two people, per household to allow others the opportunity to attend.
- Only those who have pre-registered will be allowed to enter Centrefire Place. Walkups will not be allowed under any circumstances.
- The cost of admission is donation to the Wood Buffalo Food Bank (please bring your donation with you to the game).
- Masks are required to be worn at all times in the arena .Complaince with all arena signage and designated seating is also required.
If you pre-register, we ask that you attend as capacity is limited. We thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope to fill every seat in Centrefire Place, when it is safe to do so.
Stay safe!
