FORT McMURRAY, AB (February 26, 2015) – The annual auction of signed, game-worn Fort McMurray Oil Barons jerseys will begin with the team’s home game on Friday, February 27th against the Lloydminster Bobcats, the team announced today.
The authentic jerseys of all 23 players on the team’s roster will be up for bids, alongside a unique Scottie Upshall signed #7 jersey from the former Oil Baron’s January 10th jersey retirement ceremony.
Bids for the silent auction can be made in the Casman Centre lobby during all remaining home games until the end of the 2015 Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs.
Bidding for roster player jerseys begins at $200 while the Upshall jersey will begin at $500.
Tickets are on sale for the Oil Barons’ final two home games, February 27th and 28th against Lloydminster, with both games set for 8:00 PM at the Casman Centre. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (780) 743-5509, online at tickets.oilbarons.com, or in person at the Casman Centre box office.
