The Fort McMurray Oil Barons would like to congratulate Taige Harding on being named AJHL Defensive Player of the Week. This is Harding’s third time earning these honors this season.
The Oil Barons Captain contributed 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists) across 3 games over the weekend road trip. Harding also earned Viterra Away Star of the Game in the December 17th comeback win against the Sherwood Park Crusaders where we saw the Defenceman contribute two late goals (including the tying goal) to help the MOB comeback from down three goals to win the game in regulation.
The Oil Barons will be back in action on December 30th when they travel to Drayton Valley to take on the Thunder. Following that game, they will head to Grande Prairie to play against the Storm on New Years Eve.
