Purpose of the Meeting
The Board is proposing an amendment to Article 4 of the NAAA bylaws to formally recognize corporate sponsorship as a category of membership. This change aims to:
- Expand our membership base to include corporate partners.
- Grant voting rights to designated representatives of corporate sponsors.
- Clarify eligibility for board positions held by corporate members.
Proposed Amendment Summary
The amendment will:
- Define corporate sponsors as eligible voting members.
- Allow corporate sponsors to designate a representative for voting and board participation.
- Update clauses 4.1 and 4.2 to reflect the new membership structure and remove outdated references (e.g., November 1 roster).
A full draft of the proposed language will be circulated prior to the meeting.
