Rose would go on to study and play for Northern Michigan for four years.

?As an alumnus, Fort McMurray and the Oil Barons organization hold a special place in my heart,? said Rose.

?The Oil Barons are widely known as a first class program that receive tremendous support from their staff, community, and un-rivalled fan base, added Rose. ?The opportunity to re-join the organization and work alongside an experienced coaching staff is a privilege that I am very grateful for. I?m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with the players to help them progress as both hockey players and young men.
