Oil Barons welcome back Justin Rose as Video/Strength and Conditioning Coach

Fort McMurray, AB (August 23, 2019) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce that Justin Rose has joined the organization as a Video/Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Rose re-joins the organization after playing for the team for three seasons, between 2009 and 2012. During his time as a player, Rose was known as a skilled and potent offensive threat among opposing teams.

During his final season of junior eligibility in 2011-12, Rose recorded an impressive 75 points (38 goals, 37 assists) in 57 games. Rose?s on ice success and commitment to academics earned him an NCAA Div. 1 scholarship with Northern Michigan University, following the Oil Barons? 2011-12 season. Rose would go on to study and play for Northern Michigan for four years.

?The Oil Barons are widely known as a first class program that receive tremendous support from their staff, community, and un-rivalled fan base, added Rose. ?The opportunity to re-join the organization and work alongside an experienced coaching staff is a privilege that I am very grateful for. I?m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with the players to help them progress as both hockey players and young men.
