Fort McMurray, Alta. (March 22, 2017) – Great things aren’t built in a day. Instead, they’re built and refined over time – a generation to be exact. The same can be said for the Camaro – an iconic sports car that’s been built on Chevrolet’s legendary tradition and performance since 1967.
Experience the Camaro tradition by entering our raffle for a chance to win a 50th anniversary edition Camaro. With a V8 engine that includes 455 horsepower, jet black interior and exterior and a cherry red hood stripe – the 50th anniversary edition Camaro will provide drivers and car enthusiasts with an unforgettable ride of a lifetime.
“Every year, we appreciate the support we receive from our fans, sponsors, volunteers, and billets,” said Oil Barons President David Fitzgerald.
“Raffles like these help our organization meet travel and operating costs throughout the season. We’re excited to hold a car raffle for the second year in a row and look forward to giving one lucky winner the opporuntity to cruise the streets in style too,” said Fitzgerald.
Tickets are $50 each or three for $100. Tickets are available at the Casman Centre (in person or by phone) or at Summit GM Fort McMurray. Non-Fort McMurray residents are welcome to purchase raffle tickets and can do so by calling the Casman Centre at 780-743-5509 (tickets cannot be purchased online). Tickets will also be available at the Casman Centre during the Oil Barons’ remaining home playoff games this season.
The raffle will also feature an early bird draw for $10 000 cash. The early bird draw will take place on Saturday, July 8 at the 2017 Wild West Country Music Festival at Syne Point Park in Fort McMurray. The final draw for the Camaro will take place during the Oil Barons’ annual blue/gold game on Sunday, August 27.
The raffle features a total of 5 900 tickets, including 1 600 three-pack tickets and 1 100 single tickets. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the grand prize; the Camaro must be accepted as awarded.
