Fort McMurray, AB (September 10, 2019) ? Hockey season is back Fort McMurray! To help kickoff a new AJHL season, the Oil Barons invite you to stop by the Casman Centre this Friday and Saturday (September 13 and 14) for home opening weekend against the Grande Prairie Storm.
The Oil Barons have a number of opening night festivities planned on September 13, including:
- a pre-game tail gate party including a BBQ, bouncy castles, face painting, and live entertainment at 5:30 p.m. (sponsored by Rogers Radio Fort McMurray and Sobey?s Thickwood), and
- opening ceremonies featuring special effects, videos, introductions, and a ceremonial puck drop before the game (puck drop will take place around 7:40 p.m.).
2020 Dream Home grand opening
To add to the excitement of home opening weekend, the Oil Barons invite you to stop by the 2020 Oil Barons Dream Home to take part in our grand opening event on Sunday, September 15.
From 1 to 5 p.m., Oil Barons players will be at the home (located at 113 Cobblestone Bay) to sign autographs, take photos, and play some road hockey. Oil Barons staff and board members will also be serving up a free BBQ.

Season tickets update
A reminder to all season ticket holders! Reserved season tickets for the upcoming season are now available for pick up at the Casman Centre, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please contact the Casman Centre at 780-743-5509.
