Oil Barons statement on Danton Ayotte suspension

FORT McMURRAY, AB (December 17, 2014) — Fort McMurray Oil Barons head coach and general manager Curtis Hunt issued the following statement on behalf of the organization today.

“Hockey Alberta has ruled on Danton Ayotte's match penalty from December 6th in Brooks. Ayotte has been given a calendar year suspension. The club is considering all options on this ruling which may include an appeal. We have no other comment at this time.”
