The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have signed 2005 born forward Ryley Callan for the 2023-2024.
Callan, the Calgary, AB, native played for the U18 AAA Leduc Oil Kings last season where he produced 33 points (14 goals and 19 assists) in 38 games.
“Ryley is a player that has great speed, work ethic, competes hard on pucks, and isn’t shy of throwing his body around. His wheels allow him to create offense off the rush by attacking middle ice and opening ice up for his teammates. He was the leading scorer of his team with 33 points, and 14 goals. He is a player that will represent the MOB logo well and will be noticeable every night he steps on the ice with his effort and passion he brings to the game. He is a player that takes the game seriously and works extremely hard on and off the ice. We know he will be a solid addition to our forward group next season.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah.
The Oil Barons would like to welcome Ryley to the organization and the city of Fort McMurray.
