The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of Nicholas LeClaire.
LeClaire is a 2003 born forward from Colchester, Connecticut, who has spent the previous 3 years with the USHS-Prep program Northfield Mount Hermon School. Last season, Nick played in 23 games where he contributed 30 points (15 goals and 15 assists).
“Nick is one of three players from the US we have signed for this season. He takes pride in playing a terrific two-way game and has had back-to-back successful years playing Prep School hockey at Northfield Mount Hermon. Nick has shown he can score, be a playmaker, and be a guy that is relied upon in every situation whether it’s 5 on 5 or special teams.” – Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah.
