Oil Barons Sign Forward Logan Gravink

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of forward Logan Gravink (03).

Gravink, originally from Andover, Minnesota, spent last season playing for Andover High School (18U HS) where in 31 games he contributed 28 points (15 goals and 13 assists). He also played 15 games in the Upper Midwest HS Fall Elite League and put up 20 points (10 goals and 10 assists).

“Logan is one of three players from the US we have signed for this season. He was the Captain of his Prep School team in Minnesota and not only brings a ton of leadership but character as well. He is a big, strong body that has power forward written all over him.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah. “When Logan gets his feet moving it is one of his best attributes. He is willing to drive the paint and has a knack for scoring goals within a 5 ft radius around the cage. Along with the ability to score goals in tight, he brings a high IQ in which he can set up and create chances for his linemates. He likes big moments scoring the OT winner in the State Championship.”

The Oil Barons would like to welcome Logan and his family to Canada as well as the organization.
