The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have announced the signing of forward Justin Dumais (06).
Dumais, originally from Montreal, Quebec, started the year with Gatineau of the QMJHL where he also suited up in 66 games last season contributing 23 points. Prior to joining the QMJHL, Dumais played Major AAA with the Lac St-Louis Lions where he produced 51 points across 51 regular season + playoff games. Dumais is also a former teammate of current Oil Barons forward Danny Akkouche.
“Justin is a skilled forward known for his grit and offensive acumen. We’re excited about the tenacity and creativity he brings to our lineup, and we expect him to make an immediate impact up front while providing a boost to our special teams.” Said General Manager Joey Bouchard.
