The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of Cade Meiklejohn for the 2022-23 season.
Meiklejohn, originally from Leduc, played for the U18 AAA Leduc Oil Kings last season where he tallied 37 points (21 goals and 16 assists) in 37 games. The 6’0″ forward played in 3 games for the Oil Barons last season where he recorded his first career AJHL point as an affiliate.
“We are happy to be adding Cade into our line-up for 22-23. Cade brings size, strength, physicality, and most importantly a profound touch around the net. He is a proven goal scorer at every level.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah. “With the experience he gained this past season as an affiliate and then joining us for the playoffs we know he will be ready to step in and contribute to our offense.”
