The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have announced the signing of defenceman Willem Terwoord (05).
Terwoord, originally from Salmo, BC, has 47 games of BCHL experience most recently with the Powell River Kings where he was an assistant captain. The 6’3″ defenceman also has AJHL experience suiting up in 27 games between Olds and Spruce Grove.
Terwoord brings added size, depth and experience to the Oil Barons blue line down the stretch and into the playoffs.
