Fort McMurray, AB (April 13, 2021) – The Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of 2003-born defenceman Simon Diaz (Calgary, AB) to a letter of intent for the 2021-22 AJHL season.
The 18-year-old currently plays for the Calgary Royals U18 AAA team and has recorded a goal and an assist in six games this season. In 32 games with the Royals last season, he recorded 13 assists.
