Fort McMurray, AB (April 12, 2021) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce the signing of 2003-born defenceman Nicolas Tan (Montreal, QC) to a letter of intent for the upcoming 2021-22 AJHL season.
The 18-year-old is currently attending Stanstead College in Quebec. In 25 games with Jean-Eudes College in 2019-20, Tan recorded 20 points (six goals, 14 assists).
Tan becomes the second player from Stanstead College to sign a letter of intent with the Oil Barons for next season, joining teammate and 2003-born forward Pana Efraimidis.
