Fort McMurray wants to find some traction early in the season, before they find themselves too far behind of the pack. At the showcase in Calgary, the Crusaders went 2-0 with wins over Lloydminster and Fort McMurray. Sherwood Park won both their meetings against the Oil Barons, where Noah Wills tallied three goals and Erick Roest took home both wins in goal. Offense has come from all over the lineup as Sherwood Park boosts a deep forward group, led by several game changing veterans and exciting young rookies.
