Oil Barons Preview vs. Crusaders

Story Coming In:

Now the Oil Barons welcome the Crusaders to Centerfire Place for the second and third straight meetings between the teams. Fort McMurray wants to find some traction early in the season, before they find themselves too far behind of the pack. Sitting at 2-5-0-0, the Oil Barons hope some home success will put some distance between them and the bottom of the league standings.

View From Sherwood Park:

The Crusaders used the showcase to get themselves back on track. Sherwood Park started the season 3-0 before dropping back to back games to Brooks and Drumheller. At the showcase in Calgary, the Crusaders went 2-0 with wins over Lloydminster and Fort McMurray. Sherwood Park won both their meetings against the Oil Barons, where Noah Wills tallied three goals and Erick Roest took home both wins in goal. Offense has come from all over the lineup as Sherwood Park boosts a deep forward group, led by several game changing veterans and exciting young rookies.
