Story Coming In:
It’s the lone home game for three weeks for the Oil Barons. Fort McMurray is 3-5-1 at Centerfire Place, having dropped their last two games at home, a pair of one goal defeats to the Canmore Eagles. Two of the MOB’s three wins at home are against the Bobcats. In their wins against Lloydminster, the Oil Barons received multi-point efforts from Simon Gaul, Charles-Olivier Villeneuve, Leo Adams, Alexis Beaulac and Dustin Good. Vincent Filion was also stellar, winning both contests. Since those games, the Oil Barons have taken on a slightly different look. Gone are the likes of Simon Gaul and Noah Heinrich, while they have added Ryan Arnold and Justin Dumais.
View From Lloydminster:
The Bobcats continue their red hot form. With a victory over Devon on Friday, Lloydminster is now 7-3 in their last 10 games. The offence has improved dramatically, with the Border City Bunch scoring five or more goals in five of their last six games. Kaiden Wiltsie continues to lead the charge with ten points in his last six games, while Teague McAllister found his groove with points in seven of his last eight games. Defence also continues to be a strength for the Bobcats. Lloydminster has given up three or fewer goals in six of their last seven games and has averaged the fourth fewest goals against in the league at 2.61 per game.
