Fort McMurray, AB (November 16, 2019) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired 2001-born forward Josh Zinger (Red Deer, AB) from the BCHL?s Salmon Arm Silverbacks for future considerations.
The 18-year-old Zinger brings speed and skill to the Oil Barons? forward corps. In 13 games with the Silverbacks this season, he?s recorded one goal and two assists for three points.
Last season, Zinger played for his hometown Red Deer Midget AAA Chiefs and recorded 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 30 games. Zinger has also previously dawned Oil Barons? colours, having attended the team?s spring camp in Edmonton earlier this year.
The Oil Barons welcome Josh and his family to Fort McMurray.
