Fort McMurray, AB (July 18, 2019) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons continued a busy off season on Thursday, by acquiring 1999-born forward Ty Budai (De Winton, AB) from the Olds Grizzlys for future considerations.
Budai, 20, appeared in 43 games with the Grizzlys last season and finished second in team scoring with 27 points (17 goals, 10 assists). He has also spent time with the Canmore Eagles, where he registered six points (two goals, four assists) in 49 games during the 2017-18 season.
