Oil Barons acquire Tristan Kimmen from Canmore

Fort McMurray, AB (July 20, 2020) ? The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired 2002-born forward Tristan Kimmen (Lethbridge, AB) from the Canmore Eagles in exchange for 2001-born defenceman Riley Bodnarchuk (Okotoks, AB).

As a 17-year-old last season, Kimmen scored nine points (five goals, four assists) in 42 games. Kimmen is known as a speedy forward that possesses a great shot.

Bodnarchuk was acquired by the Oil Barons last season in a mid-season trade with the Spruce Grove Saints. As an 18-year-old last season, he recorded 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 31 games with the Oil Barons.
