Oil Barons Acquire Noah Heinrich from Pontiacs

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired Noah Heinrich from the Bonnyville Pontiacs in exchange for a Player Development Fee.

Heinrich has suited up in 68 games for the Pontiacs over the past three seasons contributing 20 points (3 goals and 17 assists). The defenseman is originally from Provost, AB, and is committed to NCAA Division 1 program RPI.

“We were looking to add more experience to our back end and Noah provides that in a big way. He has played a significant role for Bonnyville last year and now into the start of this year. We are getting a smooth skating, puck moving type of defenseman that can activate into the play and be a player that we can utilize in all situations. On top of what he brings to our team, Noah is committed to RPI and will use the next couple of years to continue building his game to prepare for the NCAA D1 level.  We are excited to be adding him into our D core.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah.

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons would like to welcome Noah and his family to the Oil Barons organization.
