The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired ’02 Forward Jared Miller and Future Considerations from the Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for ’01 Forward Hassan Akl.
Miller, who was in his 3rd full season with the Bobcats has played in 19 games this season where he has contributed 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists) in 19 games. The Crossfield, Alberta native spent 2 seasons playing for the Edge School Prep Program in the USSHL prior to joining Lloydminster.
Hassan Akl was in his second with the MOB. Over the two seasons Akl contributed 49 points (17 goals and 32 assists) in 52 games with the team.
