The Oil Barons have acquired 2000-born forward Layne Sniher (Calgary, AB) from the Trail Smoke Eaters for future considerations. Sniher appeared in 20 BCHL games last year and had two goals and two assists.
In 34 games with the Calgary Buffaloes two seasons ago, Sniher scored 50 points (17 goals, 33 assists).
