Fort McMurray, AB — August 19, 2025 — The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired goaltender Logan Cunningham (05) from the Devon Xtreme in exchange for forward Nolan Eastwood (06).
Cunningham, a native of Sherwood Park, AB, split last season between the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL and the Devon Xtreme. In 12 appearances with Devon, he posted a .914 save percentage. He also brings significant experience at the junior level, having played in 41 career WHL games.
“Logan adds size and a composed veteran presence to both our crease and dressing room. His experience, competitiveness, and refined technical skills will instill confidence and bring stability to our group and defensive zone.” Stated Head Coach and General Manager Sam Klassen.
