The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired goaltender Gavin Melcher (05) from the Cornwall Colts of the CCHL (Central Canada Hockey League) in exchange for a PDF (Player Development Fee).
Melcher has played in 10 games with the Colts the season while registering a 6-3-1 record, a .916 SV%, a 2.51 GAA and one shutout.
The Oil Barons would like to welcome Gavin and his family to the organization.
