Fort McMurray, AB (November 6, 2019) ? The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired 2001-born forward Ethan Jones (Nanaimo, BC) from the BCHL?s Alberni Valley Bulldogs for future considerations.
Jones, 18, has appeared in 8 games for the Bulldogs this season and has recorded 2 assists. In 44 games with the Bulldogs as a 17-year-old last season, Jones recorded 6 assists.
Before embarking on his Junior A career, Jones put up significant numbers during his final year of Major Midget with the North Island Silvertips in 2017/18. In 40 games with the Silvertips that season, he registered 28 goals and 28 assists for 56 points.
