Oil Barons acquire Douthart from Trail for Pow

Fort McMurray, AB (December 1, 2019) – The Oil Barons continued a busy week on the CJHL’s December 1 roster deadline day, moving 2000-born forward/defenceman Kyle Pow (Nanaimo, BC) to the BCHL’s Trail Smoke Eaters for 2000-born defenceman Declan Douthart (Winnipeg, MB). 

Douthart was previously acquired by Trail from the BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors. In 27 games with the Warriors this season, he has registered 10 assists and 14 penalty minutes. In 37 games with the Warriors last season, he registered six points (one goal, five assists) and 12 penalty minutes.  

Pow appeared in 16 games with the Oil Barons this season andregistered two goals and 89 penalty minutes.
