Oil Barons Acquire Ciccarello in Exchange for Huxley

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have traded ’02 Forward Clarke Huxley and Future Considerations to the Melfort Mustangs of the SJHL in exchange for ’01 Forward Danny Ciccarello ahead of Mondays CJHL Trade Deadline.

Huxley joined the organization at the start of the 2020/2021 season and has since played in 47 games with the organization where he contributed 18 points (5 goals and 13 assists).

Ciccarello, has played 27 games this season with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL where he contributed 10 points (4 goals and 6 assists) before being acquired by Melfort on January 8th.

Ciccarello, originally from Kirkland, Quebec spent three years at St. Marks School in the United States High School Prep ranks prior to his 2-year stint in the BCHL with the Silverbacks.

“Danny is a skilled forward that possesses a great shot. He will add scoring depth to our lineup here in Fort McMurray.” Said Head Coach and General Manager Adam Manah.
