The Fort McMurray Oil Barons and head coach/general manager Gord Thibodeau has agreed to terms on an extension that will keep the veteran coach with the team through the 2014-15 season.
Thibodeau had one year remaining on his previous extension, but he will now be able to oversee the progress of many of the new signings the club is expected to make this summer.
