Fort McMurray, AB (November 19, 2017) The Fort McMurray Oil Barons added some depth at forward on Saturday, acquring Peter Tomaras (Edmonton, AB) from the Waywayseecappo Wolverines of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) for future considerations.
The 19 year-old centre has spent parts of the past two seasons with the West Kelowna Warriors of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCHL), recording 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in 61 games. Tomaras also appeared in 8 games as an affiliate with the Spruce Grove Saints during the 2015/16 season, registering one goal.
