LISTEN: Barons drop final pre-season game, 1-0 to Drumheller

OKOTOKS, AB (August 30, 2014) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons put together perhaps their best pre-season effort, but fell just short of capping it off with a win, as a third period power play goal gave the Drumheller Dragons a 1-0 win over the MOB on Saturday afternoon.

Rookie goalie Michael Barabash (Calgary, AB) stopped 25 of 26 shots in the game and was signed to an AJHL White Card Certificate by the team after the game.

Drumheller goalie Curtis Skip saved all 27 shots that came his way for the pre-season shutout.

The Barons will now prepare for their home opener on Friday night at the Casman Centre when the Drayton Valley Thunder come to town for two straight 8 PM games.
