Michael Hodge has been named the AJHL’s Player of the Week for March 19 – 21. Hodge recorded five points on the weekend to move him into top spot in the AJHL’s scoring race and help the Oil Barons to a pair of wins over the Spruce Grove Saints.
In December, Hodge committed to Union College (NCAA, Division I). The 20-year-old leads the AJHL in assists (11) and points (14) with an average of 1.8 points per game in his first eight games of the season.
Hodge joins Evan Fradette (November 13 – 15) and Hunter Lamb (March 12-14) as Oil Barons to receive Player of the Week honours during the 2020-21 AJHL season.
Congratulations Michael!
