Fort McMurray, AB (February 8, 2021) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are excited to announce that 2000-born forward Luke Harvie (Lethbridge, AB) has committed to the Nichols College Bison.
Harvie’s commitment to the NCAA Division III program in Dudley, Massachusetts will take effect next season.
The well rounded, physical forward has spent the past four seasons with the Oil Barons. In that time, he’s emerged as one the team’s leaders on and off the ice, serving as an assistant captain within the team’s leadership group the past two seasons.
In total, Harvie has appeared in 120 games with the Oil Barons and has recorded 24 points (three goals, 21 assists).The Oil Barons would like to congratulate Luke and the Harvie family on this accomplishment.
